I can use my old MS explorer (wired mouse) and program all the buttons in games.

But the Logitech G7 I can't program the middle mouse button or the back button (on the side of the mouse). It will let me program the left and right main buttons however.

Anyone know if there is a setting I am missing?

I have the Logitech laser mouse (MX1000) and I can't use most of the buttons because of the way the drivers are. I use Firefox, which means for the forward and back buttons to work, they have to be bound to the keystrokes "Alt+Left" and "Alt+Right". Games will just register this as "Alt", which is usually bound to something by default. If you change that, you might be able to use it. I've been meaning to play with my BF2 controls and add some binds to my mouse buttons, since I have about 10 of them. I don't know if there are any alternative drivers that could fix this problem. I know someone who uses his mouse with various binds in games, and he's got the Logitech MX700 set (which, use the same drivers as my MX3100 set, unfortunately, that set is more compatible with Firefox than mine).

    Hope that helps you some.
