Hey guys, I've been looking up how to use Wiimote as a mouse and surprisingly, there are many solutions out there.

I'm just wondering if someone can actually refer to one that's easy to use and can actually make the wiimote control the cursor via IR?

    Thanks!

You would need the led lights on the corners of your screen for that to work i think.

I think it's been done with a wireless Wii sensor bar, so nah, probably just needs proper calibration.

Wiimote needs Bluetooth, not IR. I could be wrong though...

Wiimote needs BT for XYZ axel movements (the gravity-controlled actions) and IR for motion of cursor (by triangulation).

    id be interested in this

the glove pie can only do the wii bottons i think, not the motion sensor stuff to be able to use it to move the mouse cursor

i have a wii and tried mid last year to get it working but gave up, i presume things are more advanced by now, please post here how you get on as id love to be able to do it !!

i think you do need to use the bar, or candles people used i seem to remember

I plan on using a set of TV remotes or just a set of mouses I have lying around. I'll give it a shot maybe tomorrow.
