Lose the printer and put the sub on the floor, and I think it would be fine. I think it produces better sound there anyways.

i've never connected a laptop to a monitor/keyboard..obviously the laptop doesnt stay on when the lid is closed so is there a trick for viewing the lcd monitor that would be behind it or just move it? the dv7t is pretty massive and the monitor will not be mounted on a wall or on a separate level....

Why can't you set it to stay on when the lid is closed?

Heh? MS Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000? Good choice. Put the printer and the sub on the floor, the laptop will just sit behind the screen. that configuration should work. Or if the monitor stand is high enough, the laptop can stay in front if it without hampering your field of vision.

It's somewhere in the power options, look for something that says 'change what closing the lid does' or something similar.

Its just seemed too big for how close I sit, although I have grown accustomed to it. In hindsight I think for where it is a 22 would have been a better size.
