Folks I have a Sony Vaio and in the past I had issues with SONY laptop

Hell I heard HP laptops over heat or malfunction etc

I was thinking what causes the mother board and LCD etc to go bad just like that?

I mean can a notebook last 10 years without changing anything besides a Hard Drive which would go since its mechanical?

Was thinking of I buy a fan powered cooing pad maybe this will make my vaio last 10 years?

I bought a product called the Laptop Flip for my Dell. It raises the laptop for better ventilation. My laptop runs cooler when I have it elevated. The other feature I like with this product is that I can store my laptop vertical on the desktop saving space when I am not using it.
