    Sure. A mouse is a mouse, doesn't matter who made it. HP doesn't even make mice (nor do the other laptop OEMs); they're just rebranded stuff anyway.

    Yes it will. It will probably be plug and play as well! Although if you want finer control of the mouse, you may have to install HP's software suite
