Yes and no. Potentially, but then I get no problems with my VX Revolution. If you do, try changing the channel on your router. Channel 1, 6 and 12 are recommended

It could since they are on the same freq but it would be minimal. Also portable home phones can interfere but the only thing either would interfere with is the wireless. Each device, including the router, has different channels that they can operate on so you can change the channel the routers config if you are getting trouble using the router or change the meeces :) channel.

Hmm. Well, it's encouraging to hear that your VX revolution works because thats the mouse I'm planning on getting. Do you like it?

I wouldn't have even thought of this except that my cordless phone absolutely stops the wireless in its tracks whenever I turn it on. I've tried changing channels on the phone...that didn't help. I could try changing the channel on the router...if I can figure out how :D :D :D. I'm new to routers; this is my first one.

Egonomic, scroll wheel handy for long documents. It is expensive for what you get though. Minus the scroll wheel, there are cheaper options that also give you zoom+search buttons. But then its nice to buy nice things :p

As for your router, there should be an IP address somewhere in the instructions to type into your browser to access the router. From there, you can view your line stats, change security settings and the wireless channel

Yes, I have the IP address. I'll have to go in that menu and search for that. Thank you for your help!

Bluetooth Technology has 'frequency hopping' specifically so that it will not interfere with other 2.4 ghz devices. However, there is only so much bandwidth in the 2.4 Ghz frequency band (channels), so if your in a college computer lab with laptops everywhere, or a Starbucks, your BT mouse probably won't work very well.

    FYI
Why don't they use 2 Ghz or something lower? Less information can be sent the lower on the frequency band you go, and the higher you go, the lower the range and higher power requirements (but more information can be sent). 2.4 I'm guessing is the 'sweet spot' between distance vs power requirements vs information transferable. it also could be because anything higher or lower than 2.4 ghz is reserved for the military radio, or airliners, or something. Ask the FCC for more info.

The configuration option you are looking for is in the Wireless tab in the router dashboard and you will see a dropdown to change the channel. You can also rename your network here and you'll see other choices as well.

Its the opposite for me, in regards to the OP. My wireless router interferes with my wireless RF mouse (Logitech v610).

I've tried changing channels, but the router still sits about 2-3 feet away from my mouse d/t the room configuration (can't change it).

When downloading at high speeds, the mouse is nonresponsive and erratic, to the point where I gave up wireless signal for tradition ethernet cable.
