    Will my z70va support the Gateway XHD3000 monitor?

    I have been looking for a while for a 30 inch monitor. Though I expected to end up with a Dell 3008 WFP, CNET review said the Gateway XHD3000 monitor is a better performer though not as many connectors and no height adjustment.

    Right now the Gateway can be bought at J& R for $900 and the Dell is $2000. I have never seen the Dell at less than 1960 though someone claims they knew people who got it at $1600.

    The Gateway design is not as sleek looking but at less than half price and a better performer -- I think I can live with ugly.

    I just don't know if my ASUS z70va will support the monitor.

    Any of you ASUS experts know?
