Hey guys,
I got $20 to Target and I was looking for some headphones for my laptop in addition to the Logitech X-230 speaker system I will be buying.
I found these:

Will they fit in my laptop's speaker jack? What can I expect from them?
Also has anyone had experience with those logitech speakers I named?
Thanks!

they come with a standard headphone jack and a 1/4" adapter which is for jacking into more professional equipment.
as for how the headphones will sound, I'm sure it will be better than the speakers built-in to your laptop, but there is only so much quality one can build into a $20 set of headphones.
A forum like http://www.head-fi.com/ would be a good place to search out reviews. -
Actually, those are a good choice, the hd201's are thought of very highly in its price range. Read the little 'review' on headroom, a very reliable headphone site. Also, I think the site is www.head-fi.org, but you will end up there with that link anyway. I don't have any experience with those speakers.

Funny, I've always seen these sold as the Sennheiser HD-201. Taking BigV's comments above into consideration, they actually sound rather good... probably as good as anything else you'll find in that price range. Closed design too, which will attenuate outside noise and prevent you from bothering others with your tunes/movies/frags.
My only concern with them is they're rather bulky, which may make them cumbersome if you plan taking them on the road with you.
Good review for them can be found here. This page (also at HeadRoom) suggests some other "value for money" type cans. -
Thanks guys. Any experience with the speakers? Or Logitech speakers in general? I have had experience with logitech mice and all I can say is...wow, great quality.

Unfortunately it's more hit or miss with the logitech speakers. Some of them sound really good, while others are complete crap. Sorry I can't tell you more about the x230's though...

I'm no audiophile but Sennheiser are usually a good bet .
You probably can expect good bass and some noise isolation due to the close design . -
I actually own a set of the Logitech X-230s and am quite pleased with them... Considering what I paid for them (around $70 AUD) they're very good. I found that I had to wind the volume on the sub down quite a bit so it wouldn't overwhelm the satellites, but for general music/dvd work they do the trick. -
Yeah I heard the sub is outrageously loud. My cousin has a similar one and his whole house vibrates when he turns it up.
Will these headphones work in my laptop?
