Yesterday after a week of research I purchased Asus G1. I plan to enjoy that little game monster to the fullest. However while I'm waiting for its arrival I'd also like to shop for some accessories. I got Asus G1 for gaming and regular college-life tasks. It comes with an optical mouse, which is already not bad, because I can't stand touchpads. However I'd like to have more mobility while using my laptop, so I'm pretty much tired of wires. I'm not familiar with bluetooth/wireless devices, so I'd appreciate some advice.

    To be more specific:
    - I don't have a use for a mouse or a keyboard that will work 5 miles away from my laptop. All I need is a reliable use at a 10 yard distance at most, Mouse sensitivity and response times are important to me.
-I hate tiny mini-mice! I have long fingers and I like to rest my hand on a mouse while using a desktop/laptop, so a decent sized mouse is a must.
    - I'd like a headset that will work 50+ yards away , ignoring the obstructions.

Mission: To find Wireless/Bluetooth Mouse, Keyboard (desktop offer), and Headset.
    Budget: 150$ for Everything

    Questions:
-Are there any downsides to Wireless/Bluetooth mice in terms of response time?
-I'd like to understand what is the difference between bluetooth/wireless functionality, except for the wireless need for a dongle?
-Does Bluetooth bandwith get cluttered with several bluetooth devices, slowing them down?
-Do I really need bluetooth or all those tasks can be done with wireless accessories?
-What is cheaper? Where and what to buy? Is my budget realistic?

I wont be able to answer all of your questions but I'll take a shot at suggesting some products.

If your big into gaming then I would maybe go with the Logitech G7 wireless gaming mouse, you do have to plug a dongle in for it to work but it is very good for gaming. It has 2 lithium batteries and a USB charger that is seperate from the dongle(So you don't always have to have the large(bigger then the dongle) charger plugged in. Price for the G7 is about $70. For keyboard, I'm not sure if you want a wireless one or not, if you don't want a wireless one, just one that you use while at your desk then I'd go with the Logitech G15, its the ultimate gaming keyboard. It should cost about $70 also.
