    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to pick up a mouse for my partner, and I'm trying to find one that fits just right.

As my partner's disabled and not completely mobile, we picked up a laptop for her from Dell - mostly fine, but as with apparently most XPS's the touchpad is a pain. Solution - wireless mouse. Came close to picking up the Microsoft
Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000, but it's too small for her.

Moving onto full size mice, I have an old Intellimouse Explorer with bluetooth which we tried, but she's a leftie and that's a rightie mouse.

So effectively what I'm looking for is a wireless/bluetooth mouse which is ambidextrous and full size. The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 looked good, but from the reviews I've read it comes with the mouse sized receiver, which defeats the wireless when using a laptop.

Can anyone recommend a wireless/bluetooth ambidextrous full size mouse which is either bluetooth (so no dongle needed) or with a small usb key sized dongle?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I use Logitech V270 and its quite a good bluetooth mouse. However, its an optical mouse and doesn't work on as many surfaces as a laser mouse would. If you plan to use a mousepad, the V270 is great

Thanks for replying - I'm looking at this mouse being primarily used on a knee or a sofa cushion, so not really a mouse mat - any ideas?

Then you shoud be looking at a higher grade laser bluetooth or wireless mouse. Possible one of the offerings from Logitech such as the VX.

To choose a good mouse for your self honestly suggestions do help but go down to a computer store such as Bestbuy or Futureshop and try mice out to see what you find is comfortable for your hand.

What about the logitech V470? It uses bluetooth, which I think is more convenient for a laptop mouse.

I have been using a V470 for 5 months, works great on any surface, including couch cushions!
