    Wireless Bluetooth mouse connection problem

    i had this mouse working before, but now after using the touchpad the mouse fails to work....

    i restarted my comp and reinstalled the software for the mouse but the computer cannnot detect the mouse. Its a logitech v470 laser mouse and it doesnt have a USB receiver, its supposed to automatically connect straight tot eh computer. anyone know whats wrong?

    that's odd. look in your 'bluetooth devices' to ensure the device is recognized / working properly as it's status.

    the problem is i cant even open that up...idk why

    something is messed up and idk what to do

    I had the exact same problem. Toshiba U405D-S2852 with a Kensington nano bluetooth receiver and a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. No matter what I did, and what configuration changes I made, and how many times I tried to reconnect, I kept losing the connection.

    I returned the receiver and the mouse back to the store, and went for the Logitech V450 mouse with nano receiver. I've been happy ever since.

    What kind of lappy do you have? Does it have a keyboard shortcut that disables the bluetooth? Make sure it's activated. :rollseyes"

    After using the touchpad it may be registered as the default pointing device.
