    Hello,

I'm looking for a separate keyboard to use with my notebook because the notebook keyboard is too uncomfortable to use. I tried using a desktop keyboard (PS/2) with a PS/2 to USB converter but Windows does not recognize it, even after installing the necessary drivers. Would this keyboard work on any notebook?

    Thanks in advance.

This is in addition to the above question.

BestBuy is selling this wireless keyboard and mouse combo that looks like a good deal to me.

    Would this one work too?

Considering your laptop has the expected USB port(s) open, any wireless solution should work for you. If you don't want to go wireless, a standard USB keyboard runs about $15-20 at your friendly CompUSA or comparable store. All wireless setups will come with some sort of receiver (either RF or Bluetooth or some variant of the two) which will work great too. I'm personally using the Logitech DiNovo media desktop (Bluetooth) and it's fantastic. Not to mention it's visually stunning [ :D]

I use an IBM USB wireless keyboard and mouse. It is a little on the expensive side but works great.
