    Hey guys,
I just bought my laptop and the only games I'll be playing will be strategic war games. Like Starcraft 2, Rome: Total War, that stuff. But will also use my laptop as a multimedia device. It's an SXPS 16. What mouse do you recommend?
It must be wireless and it must be laser. But which one is the best for a reasonable price? Thank you!

What's your definition of "reasonable price"?

Also note that all wireless mice will not be as lag-free as wired mice, so if you are an intensive gamer, a wired mouse would likely be a better option.

That said, the mouse I use is the Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000. It is a laser mouse, and can be either wireless or Bluetooth (flip a switch), and is rechargeable by a magnetic contact through the USB dongle. It's available for $25 with free shipping at Amazon. I've had a great experience using it so far.

Ok reasonable price would $30 tops. Maybe 40 because I could probably find it cheaper on amazon. And I'm not really an intensive gamer. And those strategy games use the mouse alot yeah but anything that is responsive is good

There's not too many wireless laser mice for under $30, so you won't have that many options. The Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 is a nice mouse, and it's very responsive. On my computer, I haven't noticed any lag through the Bluetooth interface.

I've also heard the Logitech VX Nano is a really nice mouse, but unfortunately, it's also quite expensive. Although, there was once a sale that had it for $37 or so.

Oh is the Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 comfortable because from the pictures it looks really small and fat

Oh wow. That thing looks beautiful. Is it a good size for let's say somebody who likes the size of desktop mice? And is it responsive?

This Mouse could become my favorite...The Receiver can store *underneath* the mouse, and the movement on it is *smooth and sleek*.

It's a very glossy mouse..but it stays right in your hand..and it just feels nice! :) With the Bluetrack..it can be used on nearly every surface!

It's smaller than a *Desktop sized Mouse*...but wowsa! ;) Trust me, you would likey this one! :)

Here is a pic' of it featured with my Dell BT Travel Mouse, and another Mouse I'm preparing are review on, The New Logitech BT M555b (this is nice, also)!

Logitech M555b on left, Dell BT Travel Mouse middle, and the MS 6000 on the right! :)

Hopefully later this evening or tomorrow morning! :) And, I will be making 2 threads on the mice, here in Accessories.
(I don't think they would be allowed in the Notebook News & Reviews..Section ~ as they are not laptops..as such..)

Here is the MS 6000 & the Logitech M555b together.
(sorry for the photo quality, I just got a new camera..and am not having a very pleasant experience with it) :(

Here is the bottom, where the receiver stores..and you can see a hint of the Bluetrack! :D

I have had this Mouse in my hand nearly since I received it. And, I've been using the M555b, alternately! They both work at the same time on my lappy! (not a good thing).... :p :D

Left and right of the scroll wheel ;)

Thumb button on the side, and (what I call 4th finger button) on the right side next to your right button. :)

It has 5 customizable buttons and 4-way scrolling. The scroll wheel works as the 5th mouse button. And, with the IntelliPoint Driver, you can program/and or reassign each of the 5 buttons from the the menu of the Command functions, etc.

Also, it has that vertical/tilting for left & right horizontal scrolling on the wheel!

Hey, Cin', I'm wondering where you got the MS 6000 mouse? Amazon currently has it for about $40 and I'm wondering if I can get it for around $30 or even $35 if possible.
