After using a corded mouse all this time I've finally decided to buy a wireless mouse mainly because my dog has found my logitech mouse and started chewing on it but luckily it still works fine, my son also tells me to move onto wireless too as he's into all that 'techno' stuff I guess.

The problem that is troubling me at the moment is that should I use a wireless mouse or a bluetooth mouse? my notebook has bluetooh already so would it be simply buying a bluetooth mouse and syncing it to my notebook? or would wireless be the better option.

I'm thinking about the Logitech Nano mouse, I'm not keen on spending too much money because the main uses for it are for space saving and I don't really like those trackball mice.

I've used bluetooth and wireless mice, and do not notice any difference, except for battery life. Bluetooth mice tend to quickly consume batteries.

For Bluetooth I recommend the Logitech V470. And as a side note bluetooth does not consume more batteries than the wireless usb ones.

Just bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard. Got my kit on clearance for $49 as they're on clearance as very few people are buying laptops equipped with BT around here.

Works well. I use rechargeable NiMH batteries, so battery life isn't an issue at all.

The nice thing about Bluetooth is that the radio is (or can be...depending on model of laptop you have) internal to your laptop, so theres no little USB dongle to stick out, or lose.

Don't know why people complain about lag; I don't notice any. Might be an issue if you're a high-performance gamer, but for web browsing or similar, I doubt you'll ever find it to be an issue.

I have a logitech VX revolution - under normal use the batteries lasted 3 months, under 15 hour a day use, they last about 25 days which is still really good. I never have reception problems (even at 10 feet away) and it never lags. I'd assume the VX Nano is similar, just in a smaller package. Anyway, the the VX revolution is the best mouse I've ever used (besides the MX revolution, but that's overkill).

Plus you can get the VX rev for under $40 now (i got mine for $30) and the Nano for under $50, so a bit expensive, but the mouse will probably last a LONG time.

I'm going to second that Logitech V200. It's a great mouse.

    Logitech is a top-brand of mice/keyboards

EDIT: but if you have Blutooth, a wireless needs a USB Root, while with internal blutooth, you dont need any "root" or usb usage.

    Hope I could Help

i have a g7 and love it. Its as close to my coveted MX518 as you can get.

Was on sale for 40$ and wont ever look back. However its not for everybody as its targeted to be a full size mouse (gaming mouse) alot of notebook users just want a mouse for web surfing and things where portability takes precedence.

For that I think the nano looks great but have not had a chance to use it.
