I am want to connect my laptop to my Tv for games and videos. i want to be able to close my laptop and just leave it there for the most part. I don't have a table so wireless mice are awkward. I assume that a pc controller can act some what as a mouse but how smooth is it. I am looking at the Logitech Dual Action Game Pad because it cheap and one of the few best buy carries. Does it have right click and middle wheel equivalents? Is there a better controller for cheap. Is there a remote that can replace a mouse and include a basic keyboard without being to bulky.

You might want to invest in a wireless mouse and keyboard versus a controller if that's what you're going to be doing.

Keyboards work fine on laps. Mice work fine on anything flat - books, clipboards, your friend's back. Controllers do not work fine to run an operating system.

It will work great, the build quality and precision of Microsoft Xbox 360 controllers are excellent, they work great too. -
Lol, skip the middle man, and just buy the Wireless Xbox Controller for the PC if you're hell-bent on trying to run an operating system with a controller.
