Hey guys, does anybody have a link for a good wireless keyboard and mouse that I can use with a PS/2 KVM?

So the PS/2 must be seperate one for mouse and one for keyboard. It can be USB as long as its fully compatible with an adapter.

    Thanks!

That mouse above will definitely work with a PS/2 KVM, but I must ask how many PS/2 only machines do you have? There aren't many left that are worth booting up these days.

Or are you sticking with a PS/2 KVM because you can't afford to replace it with a USB one? I know for more than 2 ports they certainly aren't cheap.

I managed to replace my PS/2 KVM with a USB 2 port from eBay I got second hand, which didn't cost much at all.

This is for work, just started a new job and our imaging room has 3 IOGear 8 port KVM, 2 of them are daisy chained (special feature) with the whole room wired with nice little pulleys for imaging that already have the ps/2 connections so no way are they going to change it.

I just want to make it easier to work since I often block the keyboard/mouse with laptops or other machines I am working on.

For me, a network cable and remote desktop is a better solution :)

Tell me how you remote into a computer with nothing on the hard drive and then image it while in remote desktop.

I think you didn't understand the concept of an imaging station.

Even if I could, jumping between 15+ computers at a given time on remote would be much slower than a button press, and still yet it would not solve my issue that those 15 computers are blocking the wired keyboard/mouse.

You said an imaging room, not an imaging station.

The definition of which is entirely open to interpretation whilst out of the context of the field that your business resides in.

Are you talking about imaging hard drives with windows?

Yes I said imaging room in a later post, but if you want context the rest of that same post puts it into clear context.

Pretty sure "pulleys for imaging" has a powerful contextual meaning, Why would you have pulley systems with all the PC connections unless you needed rapid connection and disconnection of multiple machines multiple times a day.

What we have is an imaging room because its multiple stations we commonly are running 12+ machines at a time via PXE to install any needed OS on any given type of system.

All said if you want to debate context, we go to the OP and where I asked for links to wireless PS/2 keyboard/mice and

Would have no contextual fit on said request no matter how you try to spin it.

Now since you have a total of two posts in this thread and 2/2 of said post are totally non constructive and offer nothing to the discussion nor the request at hand could you refrain from further posting unless you would like to participate in discussion properly?

    Thank You,
