Does anyone have any experience with wireless headphones with gaming, listening to music, or watching movies? I'm interested in getting a pair, they will have to be 3.5mm, I'll be using them with my laptop and possibly a PS3. I'll mostly be in the same room as the transmitter, and there aren't any phones (except my cell) or microwaves in my room.
The Sennheiser RS series looks nice, if a little pricey, and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading from the RS 126 to the 136 or 146 ($169, $219, and $269). A cheaper alternative would be to hit up BestBuy etc, and pick up something like these Sony headphones for around 100, but the reviews seemed pretty mixed/negative, seeing as it's an entry level option.
I know a lot of the experience might just end up to luck and circumstance, but anyone's input and experience is appreciated.

Bump... Any input is appreciated.

I am looking for tips on this too.
RF or BT? -
I have been researching this too, and like with most purchases I pay attention to Amazon.com reviews. The Sennheiser RS120 926 MHz Wireless RF Headphones with Charging Cradle have over 1,000 reviews with a solid 4/5 star rating, which is really good, and they're only $90.

I wouldn't recommend getting wireless headphones. The quality is only going to be as good as the quality of the connection, and with wireless, it's generally less than a wired connection.

I use Logitec, while the sound quality is briliiant, the battery last only six hours which is really annoying, I wouldn't say it is a good idea to use wireless for gaming, movies are fine

Whoa, never realized this thread came back from the grave
RF preferably, in case I decide to buy a PS3
Yeah, Sennheiser's got a pretty strong reputation, even with their wireless headphones. Personally, I was looking $40 up at the 136, I like the idea of the closed style headphones. Whether it's worth the $40 I'm not sure!
Well, I'm well aware of this, and it does worry me. Do you have any first hand experience with them?
That is pretty short, but depending on how they charge it might not be too bad. What model is it? -
Not personally, but my guess is that you would only really notice it if you were an audiophile or something. I would say that Bluetooth would be alright for everyday use, just not for extreme quality audio though.

The Jabra BT8030 gives great sound over bluetooth. Pretty much the best BT you can get.
