Last December I bought myself a new (business) notebook, the ASUS V1J.
Additionally, I bought a 2.0 Logitech Z-2300 speakerset, a 250GB 7200RPM Toshiba External Hard disk and a Logitech VX Revolution mouse.

For years I've been using the Logitech MX600 set, but that one is getting quite old now.

I'm in the market for a new keyboard, it must be wireless and if possible without an USB receiver. My notebook has 3 USB ports, of which 2 are already in use (ext. HD and mouse). One left, which I'd like to use for my printer and other things. I can imagine there are no wireless/bluetooth keyboards w/o USB receivers, in that case it wouldn't be a problem.

I prefer Logitech, but any other suggestions are welcome too.

    Many thanks!

The Logitech DiNovo Edge Keyboard Apocalypse mentioned does use a bluetooth dongle USB. But there are other options to get around this. If your notebook has bluetooth integrated, the keyboard can run off of that. It would not need a USB dongle. If your notebook does not have bluetooth integrated, see if you could add an internal card. If that's not possible, look into getting bluetooth SD card or a pcmcia bluetooth card (if your notebook has either slots).

I would think any bluetooth keyboard would work if you wanted something cheaper. As long as you have some type of bluetooth access (such as the integrated option), it will connect. It's like having a bluetooth phone and a bluetooth headset. Any headset will connect to any phone, but make sure you have the versions that are compatible (v1.1, 1.2, etc).

    About the compatability thing.

Most Bluetooth devices are backwards compatible. Not everybody knows that , but im sure most of the people here know that

You can consider the Logitech Mx3200 wireless keyboard.
