Ok my first question is if there is a way to adjust mouse sensitivity (USB) without also adjusting the touch pad sensitivity?

My second question is, I'm in the market for a wireless keyboard and mouse. I don't care about all of the bells and whistles rampart on so many products in today's tech world. I just want a basic mouse, preferably laser, and a basic keyboard. Any suggestions?

    Best Wishes,
    Laotzu

Not through windows. If you have a mouse with on the fly dpi change then you could lower dpi to slow down. (such as logitech G5)

Best is to go out to future shop or best buy and try what ever they have. It will help you choose since it will determine what is comfortable for you and what is not comfortable for you.
