What kind of range do you get with a wireless keyboard and mouse and is there significant lag. I was pricing bluetooth but the only one in my price range was a Dell and the mouse got slaughtered for gaming.

i have the microsoft wireless 6000 desktop and its great. a friend of mine has bluetooth and has difficulties with it especially when initially installing linux because its not recognized, therefore id stick with standard wireless. Battery life is about 6 months of 14 hours daily use, so id say thats pretty good. As far as lag goes, i don't notice any and range is easily around my room provided the receiver is in a good spot.

With my wireless logitech mouse, I lose sight of my monitor before I can get it to lose signal. I don't notice any lag as well.

Range shouldn't be a problem. I can type from across the room (12-15 feet) with my MX 3200 from Logitech. No lag, no errors.

Bluetooth devices, though, often have a more limited distance.
