    Hi everyone,
I just bought a logitech m185 mouse, it worked perfectly for 2 hours and then started to drop signal out. The pointer starts lagging and then the mouse doesnt respond completely, even if I remove the battery and replace it, changed USB's, updated drivers, put brand new AA battery made in germany.. I dont know what else to do.. I was about to present a powerpoint slideshow with it and it refuses to work correctly for more than 20 min now :(

I've received a DOA receiver with a Logitech mouse before, so it's possible yours just failed.

I was able to call Logitech and have them mail me a replacement.

Well, thanks for the answer, but the RMA service is most likely gonna tell me to show them the problem, I doubt it will happen in the right time and they will simply tell me to go home..

So it's not 100% dead, but unable to maintain the connection?

I got the impression that it had completely stopped working when you said "the mouse doesnt respond completely, even if I remove the battery and replace it, changed USB's, updated drivers, put brand new AA battery made in germany.."

I did not have to demonstrate anything to the person I spoke to on the phone (or mail anything in). I provided a proof of purchase (Amazon receipt), but that might have been it.

I did have to create an account on their support website (which doesn't support Chrome at all, by the way) in order to initiate the RMA.
