I want to leave my laptop hooked up to my TV and use a wireless mouse/keyboard from my chair about 8-10 feet away. I want to game with this also, so something with little lag would be ideal. I have seen a few people talk about some gaming wireless mice but no talk of keyboards or possibly combos. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

I have used my Samsung wireless mouse/keyboard for my laptop for quite a while, i only use the combo when i hook it to my TV too. 8-10 feet would be no problem with a decent mouse/keyboard.

Well, there were some downsides: The reception was generally good, but my keyboard could be unresponsive for a brief moment once in a while. Second, the battery required to put in the mouse seems to be drained very fast, which could be annoying.

Don't know if thats the case for other wireless mouse/keyboard users, but i didnt like using them after a while. And not too long ago, the wireless mouse went out on me while the keyboard is still working. Hope this helps.
