I've tried a couple logitech wireless mice that both interfered with wifi, or got interfered by wifi.

Have you found a wireless mouse that works perfectly alongside wifi? They're really crowding the 2.4Ghz range.

Cool I'll try a MS mouse next, also expect to no longer have to put up with useless driver support like Logitech.

Did you try switching the channel up to 11 on your router?

I have 2 Logitech wireless, not sure of the model #s, and an MS wireless. None of them interfere with wifi on my desktops or laptops. They are all fairly new.

the wireless on mouse is RF, the wireless internet is not. There is no way they are interfering

So you're saying the mouse is using RF and the wireless internet is using magic?

Since RF stand for Radio Frequency.

They can but a properly designed mouse and proper router/wifi card shouldn't interfer.

the response wasn't warranted. If your gonna dispute something then do it with facts. What I was saying is that RF is a lower bandwidth signal than Wireless internet. If his mouse was interfering with wireless then so would his cordless phone, his tv remote etc.

    TV remove is IR.

RF covers the entire lower spectrum that is invisible.

A microwave can and usually interfere, a cordless phone can and usually. That's why people say not to put an AP near a microwave and cordless phone or to get a 900mhz phone that doesn't use the same spectrum.

As for facts seems like I got them all in order. Where's yours?

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the access point. It's a broadcast service that covers the neighborhood.
There were a lot of complaints about interference on Amazon comments and Logitech forums. Good for you guys if you're having problems. It's possible that some of us just got a bad batch. Too bad I didn't use wireless until after the warranty expired.
And yes, wireless internet does use RF, simple as that. Some remotes also use RF, but almost never on TV remotes, can't think of any I know of. dicecca112 you dont' sound like you know what you're talking about, kindly refrain from speculations.

The newer logitechs are really good at channel hopping to avoid interference. But still it can happen. My old logitech (the first wireless optical mouse ever) easily gets affected.

That said. Lets try to fix your wifi side. What wireless card do you have? Have you tried disabling all power saving features to get a stronger signal?

i've had about 5 different logitechs that have been 2.4ghz, and all of them were affected by wifi. i changed the channel on my router, and it helped, but sometimes i still get stuttering or lag, or the buttons wont click.

I have never had a problem with any of the microsoft mice either, but none of their mice are 2.4ghz. so they wont interfere anyway. but all their mice have really short range. so its kind of a trade off.

you can pretty much get any non 2.4ghz mouse and it should be interference free.

Some of the new ones that toute long range use 2.4Ghz. It was the only way to get 2.4 but yeh that's the reason why logitech mice had better range in the beginning. MS was using 900mhz.
