I recently purchased a Targus AMW25Us wireless USB mouse. On the package it says it is Vista certified. So i plug the usb receiver into my Gateway Mt6707 and vista searches for my driver. It says the driver can't be found and i should try the support website of the product. I went to the site and they have nothing for me. Twenty min ago i plugged it into my work pc which has XP and it works just fine. Any suggestions???? thanks

Stupid question first, because if the answer is "no," you're probably out of luck:

Did the mouse come with a driver CD?

If not, give Targus a phone call or send them an email to find out what the deal is.

i sent Targus an email and they have yet to reply. I called and told them what was going on and they said i have a defective USB reciever. Then i told them it worked on my Win XP work pc and they told me to wait for the email. The mouse didn't come with a cd. I can't believe it's this much trouble for a stinking mouse

Did you try setting it as a generic USB mouse?

lol thats 'certified vista compatibility' for you.

Have you tried different USB ports by any chance? My USB stick only works on certain ports on my work computer.
