Is there such a thing as like a 1/8" wireless audio transmitter? Like it would go into your notebook's sound out and transmit to a box that is connected to any Aux in for a stereo or the Red/white RCA plugs?

Here is a product I found that matches what you're describing. It has a transmitter that sends to a receiver that has RCA cables that can be plugged into other devices. If this exists, there are probably cheaper alternatives out there. You could do some more google searches as I did for Wireless Audio Transmitter RCA Out.

Just be sure you know all the details if your going to purchase a wireless set of speakers. Unless you pay a PREMIUM and I mean a high price. Your going to get speakers which sound only mediocre compared to traditional wired speakers. Not to mention the possibility of other devices which may interfere with the signal. :)

Im guessing it must be quite difficult to market Bluetooth speakers seeing as how bluetooth really has a limited range compared to RF. I havent really seen any speakers marketed out there which use Bluetooth. I am guessing they only sell sets like 2.1 with bluetooth due to the fact that 5.1's use back speakers which MIGHT push bluetooths range a tad bit in some areas.
