I ordered one of these the other day from ebay for cheap and I am happy to report that it works alot better that the thick book that I have been using when I use my laptop in my lap and makes for a much more comfortable session while sitting in the lazy boy :D .

Here are my results using my normal temperature program (CORE TEMP) -

At idle it runs 17 degrees cooler compared to the book.

Under load running 3 IE windows and Microsoft Power point it runs 15 degrees cooler compared to the thick book.

Here is the homepage for the company but at the moment there is one left on Ebay for much cheaper.

Cool your laptop up to 30 degress? Seems kind of exaggerated.

Design looks mediocre to the Zalman NC-1000 but at least you can put it on your lap comfortably.
