Definitely pick it up. It's a great controller. I love mine. I wish I had bought it sooner.

I love it. If you want to customize your keys I suggest downloading XBCD drivers. With that link, you can change the trigger keys into actual buttons or whatever you want.

The XBCD360 driver will work with any game that's not an FPS game (but really, why use a game pad for an FPS?). Make sure you follow the instructions on that website to the letter, and you will have no problems. Unfortunately, the XBCD360 drivers have no function with the wireless Xbox 360 controller.

That's all you need. However, you will still need to go to www.microsoft.com/hardware to download the original drivers for the xbox 360 controller drivers. The directions are pretty simple on the website, but if you have any questions please feel free to PM me or post up a forum.

I am not familiar with it's use on computers but I will say the 360 controller is the most solid gaming pad I have used for consoles. Although some have said the d-pad is garbage. I have not needed it much so I have not noticed.

Windows will pull up the drivers for the controller in windows update automatically, they work but they lack customization so if you up for some research get the XBCD drivers instead. It will make it much better.

Some games that would have not worked right like Tomb Raider Legends will work with XBCD.

I also needed it for Phantasy Star Universe since the game options wont let you reverse the axis of the joystick to look around, but the drivers will.
