I cant find my orginal post so I am making a new one.

I purchased a notebook backpack from newegg and I received the wrong item. I had to reorder a new bag and send the wrong item back in (I still havent gotten credited for that). So I got my replacement in today, and what do you know: its the wrong bag again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just so frustrated right now. I requested a very hefty free gift card for two mixups. Am I right here to demand a free card? Do you think I will get one?

    Thanks

Before you do anything else, file a dispute with your credit card company over the charges. Make sure you can provide documentation of exactly what you ordered and what you received. I think you'd be surprised how companies react once you get a credit car company involved - those are folks you don't mess with. ;)

Newegg is usually spot on, I'd give them a call to straigten it out.

Yea, newegg has pretty good services. A lot better compared to those computer companies.

This has to be the stupidest thing ever. They emailed me and said "In this case, we recommend you to keep the bag as is."

The reason why I keep complaining is because I dont want to keep the bag!!

just buy a new bag with the gift card you got. Simple as that.

Why do you bother filing the case?

Newegg is a big company, and every now and again, they do make a big mishap....you've gotta let it go.

Rule # 1 when making a purchase: NEVER let ANYTHING go.

Rule # 2 what making a purchase: ALWAYS get something for your troubles.

Most comapanies seem to understand that if they screw up thats whats going to happen, there going to lose money, as they should. I don't care how big they are you never let anything go, thats like saying "ohhh, its a big police department, let a few police brutality cases go".

I got the targus martix bag. Its really nice and fits everything I have. Except when walking with it the portion hitting your back doesnt have much padding and it feels like a stiff board. Probably a problem with all notebook backpacks though.

Yea I think I did the right thing. They gave a $20 gift card. I know it isnt much but its something. In addition to that, I sent a complaint to their other departments and they emailed me today saying that they will send my complaints to "persons of authority." So maybe I will get more money? hope so

Considering that the bulk of your suffering was returning two backpacks, I don't see why you're expecting more compensation.

Atleast you got something. Better than not getting anything right? They could've of said now and just took the bags back right?
