I have the G5 Mouse from Logitech. I was debating between the g5 and g7 when purchasing, but then seeing the 1 thumb button on the g7, i opted for the g5. so ive had it for a while now, and its really awesome. but wouldnt it be awesome for logitech to remake the g7 with 2 thumb buttons like it did with the g5? i think it could be like the nastiest wireless mouse ever if they did that. the weights would be nice too, but im sure stock weight to the mouse would be fine since it has the awesome quick battery swap feature.

and itd especially be cool if the reciever was as small as the logitech nano reciever. then you wouldnt even need to worry about unplugging it.

    thoughts?

sounds cool. I'm sure they're making improvements as we speak, but as long as their making killer profits, they won't change too much right away.

G7 is also not very popular among Competitive Gamers.
Hence, G7 is not a Cash cow.

The real Cash cow is MX518.

    And the Star is G5

g7 isnt very popular your right. among gamers.

but imagine logitech marketing it for graphic design oriented people.

youd have the precision of the g5 with the wireless capabilities. idk. itd be nice to use for photoshop and stuff like that. thats what i use my g5 for too. the cord just gets annoying sometimes though.

and the extra thumb button for break time lol

It's the marketing which makes all the difference.

I am surprised no company has targeted GRaphic Designers till now.. including Razer.

maybe some figure that for people who photoshop, theyll just use atablet

but i think a graphics geared mouse would be awesome for photoshop, flash, sony vegas, after effects, final cut, etc.
