    Z-2300 THX vs. Promedia 2.1

    so these are my top 2 choices for buying a new 2.1 rig. I know these are high rated setups.

    One buying factor is the promed. has a tweeter and the zed23 doesn't. Does this make a big difference?

    another buying factor is that I don't know where to get a klipsch promed, but the the z2300 is readily available at bestbuy. (I live in toronto, canada)

    so which one is better?

    i listened to both systems and i like the promedia system better. you can find it on ebay for ~60 brand new, that is if you want to trust ebay.

    i don't know much about the difference between having a tweeter and no tweeter but for the money, i'd say the promedia is the way to go.

    just don't turn them past 50% volume or else you'll get noise complaints xP

    I just bought a Klipsch 2.1 Promedia around 3-4 days ago, and it got here already. I have to say, it's just great. My only qualm is the power switch on the back of the subwoofer, but otherwise everything is awesome.

    yeah....that seems to be everyone's problem with the Promedia's. But they had to save costs somewhere to deliver such a great system at that cost.

    Heard both and bought the logitechs. Prefer them for movies and games over the promedia. Very satisified with my 2300s.
