Before making my purchase for a notebook cooler, I read many people saying that this cooler fits all 17" notebooks. Well, for my Pavilion 9500t, it doesn't. I should of done the proper measuring myself, but from the reviews it sounded as if people were saying this was a one size fits all cooler. For anyone looking to buy a Zalman, and have a 17" widescreen. Go for the NC2000.

On these forums people are more 2000 than 1000 for one size fits all

Think you are confused with NC2000.

Yeah the 1000 barely fits my NP2096. The 2000 is the way to go for large 15.4" notebooks and certainly 17" notebooks. I think it doesn't matter to most people though, it's only gonna hang off the sides by an inch or so.

I also suggest getting the nc2000 which should work really well with your 17" laptop.

I actually got the NC1000 when it first came out... it actually worked well with my 17" beast.

The notebook's footing fit within the NC1000's stage fine.

I have a NC2000 now, its wider and now the footing fits, as well as there is no overhang on either side.
