    Anyone else notice this?

Just recently, I tested with my hands and a piece of paper and noticed that the airflow is higher towards the left side. Turning it over to see the fan placement corroborates this: the fans are not in the centre of the unit, but rather offset to one side.

Which leaves two questions: is this intended for some specific reason? And what is the purpose of the dummy/mock-fan outlines next to them?

... I may have to try Gophn's cooler mod, as my M860TU requires more cooling on the right side (the left side never gets hot).
