I really need a better laptop cooler for my gaming rig/desktop replacement because this ty Targus Chill Mat is just awful. I feel like an idiot for buying the Targus for 40 bucks ,but whatever. So I was looking at Amazon and these two coolers caught my eye.

I really don't know which one to get and price really doesnt matter. One is 60 the other is 70 meh. If someone can tell me which one is better or could just recommend me a better one than these two, that would be swell.

Its for a 17 inch laptop btw.

NZXT if you don't need to transport the cooler around. Much much better than the Zalman.

Well, if the vents on the bottom of your 17-in laptop are concentrated closer to the front of it then I'd suggest the NC2000. Though if they are concentrated closer to the back, I'd suggest the Cryo LX. The Cryo is a beast (can push major air) and I would have easily gone for it if it was in stock 2 months ago. You can maybe even use the thing as a desk fan for yourself on warmer days, so it's multifunctional. I went with the NC2000 though and it works well enough for me .

Hahahah thanks E.D.U. Using The Cryo as a fan just convinced me, plus my heat is mostly coming from the back of the laptop.

Thanks guys! lol now the real decision... the Silver Cryo or the Black one, hmmmmmm

Actually it depends on the layout of your notebooks vents... read the sticky at the top of the thread
