    Zalman NC3000U 2 usb cords

    Hello everyone, got a question - i have zalman NC3000U and it has 2 usb power cords, should i plug both or 1 is enough? i've used 1 for few months, but i've readed somewhere that 2 usb cords connected is recommended.

    BTW do you notice a significant temp reduction with the Zalman?

    thanks, now im using 2 cords. NC3000U reduces temps by 2-4C not so much :) but atleast a bit less temps :)

    MY bad, I just got the 3000S an hour ago and noticed your model has the Y adapter cord, I would use it just as the instruction book suggests do not go by my advice above!
    Thanks for input re: temps, I see no difference so far :(

    Yes that article says the two arms go into two of your laptop’s USB ports, for powering the cooler and carrying data to the cooler's USB hub.
    I really like how quite these Zalman's are!

    bad side - it isn't portable... nzxt cryo lx is better in this way.
