Okay i am going to buy Zalman Nc 2000 to keep my laptop cooler. Its been running really hot above avg. Gpu 98 while in a game, idle 64. So till my laptop get fixed by sager because i think i might have a defective product im giong to use a cooler to play my games. My question is how much does a Zalman sell for ? The best price i have found is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834998686 Anything cheaper? I am going to do a price match at NCIX since i live in canadaso anything lower then that will be highly appreciated.

Im actually looking at this one too for my 17" 9262, and this the best price i found as well... THe question is, should we get the NC1000, I heard the NC2000 is only slightly bigger. So im also interested in an answer to this question as i will be getting one with the month as well.

I would recommend using Direct Canada for your price match only a few cents cheaper than newegg but it is FAR easier to get the price match at NCIX. That's how I got a good deal. They prefer matching Direct Canada since its Canadian -
Looking at your review X2P, i noticed the holes are toward the front of the cooler, the 9262 has it 4 fans along the bottom toward the back, does the fact that it doesnt line up cuz some problems?

Actually now that I think of it couldnt you lift the front end of the Zalman with somthing like erasers and turn your Zalman around meaning youd have vents further back?

The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
I have a 9262 and got the Zalman today.I think it's a good system.Bought from Newegg too.
It fits perfectly and the seating is firm.
I wanted to try the 25cm fan from directron though -
NC1000 fits 17" notebooks fine... the footing fits within the stage fine.

so will this work well for the sager 2090?(15'') and fit well?. Like it was shoot warm air in or anything like that? Another question: The zalman is inclines your notebook. Idk if i can get use to that im really picky about how my stuff sits when i am doing cod 4 matches etc. LOL. Did you guys find it hard to get use to your notebook being inclined?

I think it's better that the notebook is inclined for the air flow.I like it that way better.
-
with incline I find it easier to type
-
yes it was made for 15.4" notebooks.
So the Sager 2090 (IFL-90) will work fine with it. -
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=28727 about to buy that one . Will be perfect for my 15'' laptop. Also why do they charge you taxes online :S wtf
-
I bought mine in Spain for 37€ plus shipping

You would not pay PST if you're outside of BC province, only GST. If you're in a province that charges HST, you will have to pay HST. Government regulation, not NCIX's doing.
-
^^ i always thought online purchases didn't have taxes :S lolz My total came out 73 dollars Canadian, better be worth it.

It's worth it.My old bytecc cooler was 35.But this one was 65.I think it's worth it though.
I wish they had 3 or fans as there is much real estate. -

(thread back from the dead)
Sorry to hijack it a bit, but....
So the feeling I'm getting is that, for a dell inspiron 1520 (15.4" widescreen), I should go w/ the NC1000?
Or does is the PRICE of the NC2000 (bringing it back to the thread topic) justified for a 15.4"? (THe inspirion's GPU fans are placed about in the middle on the side).
