    Hey all! I just received my new Zalman NC1000 cooler. I originally bought it for my NP9261 but I'm ordering a different laptop and will use it for that. I am no glad that I did switch laptops (not because of this) because this cooler just fits my 14.1" Alienware laptop. When I say just fits I mean about 1/8" of my laptop overlays the cooler. Now I bought the black color one and am wondering if the silver one was bigger? Just to let you guy know before you buy the black one is definitely only for laptop up to 15.4"

    i was gna buy the black one, and my sager is exactly 15.4". does that mean its a perfect fit?

    It will stick out on the sides about 1/2" but it will do the job. It gets ice cold with those little fans that I underestimated completely. It is a great product!

    there isnt anything specific for the 9261 is there?

    nothing for a notebook that size..

    the Zalman ZM-NC1000 fits it fine.

    the footing fits on the cooler fine, the sides stick out a bit, but that not a big deal since the sides do not cooling :)

    Exactly. This cooler, although its tiny, will work for the NP9261 and it will work great!

    i own 3 notebook coolers, including the Zalman.

    The Zalman is the best one that I use and have ever tested...

    Keep in mine that my notebook is as big and heavy as the Clevo D901C. ;)

    I have one of these for my Sager, also.
    Yes the laptop is bigger than the cooler.
    But all the feet sit on the cooler, and it does it's job nicely.

    Curious, anybody tried one of these with the Toshiba X205's? Trying to find one for this thing, not really wrried about portability, as when i take the laptop with me, i'll just leave the cooler on the desk. Would like to keep it a bit cooler though, as with some overclocking I'm getting GPU temps into the 90's, don't know if that's bad, but would sure like it cooler.

    I bought my Zalman from NewEgg. The holes area size perfectly fits my 11.1" VAIO TZ. The new Zalman (already out in some parts of the world apparently) will be coming out fairly soon and will be bigger from what I hear.
