    According to rumors, one of the new Zunes will have an 80 gb drive.

    By the way, here's a review of the new Zen. It looks great to me.

    how long does it take best buy to get creative products? I want to use my gift card to buy the 16 GB Zen when it's released. I'm just afraid it will take til November lol

    It may take a really long time... it sounds like Best Buy isn't going to be carrying Creative DAPs anymore.

    Maybe you can buy an iPod with your gift card, sell it, and use the cash to order a Zen from somewhere else... like Amazon.

    worst fears come true. Best buy is just giving me more reasons to hate them. So that's really my best bet? Buy an ipod and sell it? Because I want to get the full amount of money I have back, so I can buy this mp3 player.

    and the new zen is not great according to that review

    my biggest disappointment in it is the quirky SD slot

    and yup the zune will come with a 80GB version, it has to if it wants to compete with the ipod classic

    I think the new Zen does look great according to the review. The reviewer didn't like it because of the limitations when using media stored on the SD card. That's a bummer, but it's not a really big deal to me. iPods and most other players don't have any SD slot at all, so if this one has an SD slot with less-than-ideal functionality... that's no big deal to me. I just think of the SD slot as purely bonus anyway.

    yeah well sandisk have microSD slots and they work great, the fact that creative couldnt do the same just made this seem like a rushed product or less than ideal. the usability of the slot just dropped IMO and so did the player

    Zen. Creative is FAR better than both MS and Apple with their MP3 players at the current moment, as well as the software that supports them.
