    http://cgi.ebay.com/ZEROSHOCK-11-13-LAPTOP-NOTEBOOK-BAG-CASE-4-DELL-HP_W0QQitemZ280268526608QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280268526608&_trkparms=72%3A1205|39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Does it offer the same protection, is it as good as the Zero Shock III cases?

    Good find!

I have purchased three of the Zeroshock II sleeves from that ebay seller, and I have to say he is great.

I love my Zeroshock sleeves. It looks like this bag has the same memory foam material, so, yes, I would think it would be just as protective.

    Zeroshock really rocks.

How well does it protect it? If I drop my laptop on the floor with the ZeroShock III sleeve on it, will it be perfectly fine?

Hard to say. I wouldn't go trying it, but I will say this...I have seen hundreds of laptop sleeves over the years, and if there EVER was one you could drop and not worry (so much) about your laptop, it would be this one. I have never seen anything like it before or since.

    Amazing product. Honestly.

I have the 13.3 Zeroshock III for my Toshiba U405D, but most of the time, I keep it in its Aussiebag sleeve. I use the Zeroshock when I travel. It does give me peace of mind, and, quite frankly, its worth it.

I actually own one of these. And have for 3 years.

It is a decent product but if your notebook is heavy you will definitely notice wear rather quickly ruining the protection.

So far, so good I have not noticed any wear whatsoever on my sleeves, even the one which holds my massive 17.1 Toshiba.

Yes, I am well aware of that. He was asking if the Zeroshock that was listed had the same protective properties as the Zeroshock III sleeves. My links were to illustrate the properties of the Zeroshock line. They seem to use the same memory foam material in the III but the features are different than the "briefcase" style (original) model in the original post.

Actually the original has a piece of foam like paper. It is just under half a centimeter thick and smooth as butter. The III series is thicker, firmer and has dots. ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) like, they are to act as initial shock absorbers. It also uses a different fabric in general on the outside and inside.

But the III should be an improvement on the original in any case?

Doesn't matter. It's already shipping from Japan. Too late to return it lol

Sounds better to me...and I am a tough customer. I have had all sorts of sleeves, and this one, I feel, protects best.

    Enjoy the Zeroshock III. :)

Anybody use the Zeroshock III sleeve in just a regular backpack, not a laptop backpack? Is it protective enough for this situation?
