    Hi there,

I am currently using Belkin cooling pad with my xps m1330. Working well so far. However, I was wondering if anyone has any idea about the Evercool Zither Notebook cooling pad - and if this would be suitable for a xps m1330?

    Appreciate all comments and suggestions.

    Thanks.

I would get a cooling pad that is a little more flat.

The thing looks like some kind of tanning bed apparatus... weird.

nice design for computers that vent hot air out the sides, however, mine vents hot air out the back so it would be recycling hot air instead of grabbing fresh air.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the heads up so far. I just kinda liked the look of this unit. Looks quite spacey haha. With the xps m1330, the vent at the back is for expelling hot air, or intaking cold air?

And if a laptop vents hot air out the back - a system like this would be in appropriate as it blows air towards the laptop back?

    Thanks again

The m1330 spits hot air out of the rear vent.

    Hi.
Thanks for the information. So with a laptop that discards out the back vent, is it best to find a cooling pad that helps with this (is there such an item)? Or is it best to have cool air flowing from underneath into the air intake vent?

Thanks again - I have been reading through the other cooling paid posts also, but the answer still remains unclear to me.
