    i need a backpack for college
    i have an asus a8js
    i am looking at the swiss gear maxxum
    any thoughts or suggestions for around the same price?

    The swiss gear maxxum is a great choice, also check out the synergy by swiss gear. Like Airman said, Northface backpacks are durable, for I myself use one with my 15.4".

    A sturdy regular backpack with a reinforced and structured laptop 'sleeve' is always an option, too.

    i have an a8js as well .. and instead of just buying another backpack .. i bought a sleeve case from waterfield ( http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.htm). i'm really happy with the choice :)
