hey guys, im looking for 2 accessories that are lacking in my rig, a mouse and a cooler :) im browsing several threads here in NBR accessories, i just need the best performance there is

in gaming mouse, i have seen the following (please leave comments)

    R.A.T.
    Razer Deathaddder
    Razer Orochi
    Razer mamba

on notebook coolers i narrowed the gap into two

    Cooler Master NotePal U3
    NZXT ACC-NT-CRYO-LX

any additional types will be appreciated. in the gaming mouse, as long as its comfi (and a wireless is a nice plus) is good enough, in the notebook cooler i really wanted something that has a good cooling capacity. if you own a different accessories and you highly recommend it i would gladly listen, these babies are for my good rig m18x :D thanks in advance!

If you want the best performance mouse check out the steelseries sensei. The R.A.T and the Mamba uses a crappy philips twin-eye sensor, the Deathadder is a solid mouse but lacks features and is marketed as more of a mid-range mouse while the orochi is a problematic bluetooth mouse and no where near the best performance you can get.

well, this is a matter of personal choice.
About the gaming mouse. you want something to adapt to your hand. Razer orochi is a very small bluetooth mouse. I don't recommend it for gaming except if portability is the absolute main issue.
About razer mamba, it is wireless as well as RAT 9. Don't let noobs fool you. good wireless gaming mouse have 0 lag issues.
RAT 9 is great, you can adjust it to your hand unlike any other mouse I known off (except RAT 7 wired version).
I've used razer mamba and now use a RAT 9. Expensive but imo it's worth every penny. I love it and I can adjust it just the way you want. But it's a matter of personal choice.

about notebook coolers. the cooler master notepal u3 has probably the best price/performance ratio. Way cheaper then nzxt cryo lx.
the difference between the both (in cooling) is that the nztx uses 120mm fans and the cooler master uses 80mm.
120mm are way superior in noise and airflow. if you want the best get the nzxt, if you think it's too expensive get the cooler master.
you can mod both coolers with other fans.

The DeathAdder is a very solid gaming mouse. It's very comfortable and nice and light, and uses one of the best optical sensors out there. 3,500 DPI isn't as much as most laser mice these days, but it's still way more than you need unless you play at insanely high sensitivity. It's one of my favorite mice overall. Extremely comfortable and reliable for a good price.

The Mamba is what I use now; same basic shape and layout as the DeathAdder, but wireless and with a 5,600 DPI laser and two more buttons. It's also slightly heavier than the DeathAdder on account of the battery and stuff. Despite using the Twin-Eye sensor, which isn't necessarily the best, I've had no issues with mine. I'm using the older 5,600 DPI model, not the current 6,400 DPI one. Excellent mouse, although I would try to find it on sale or get a refurb. Mine was $70 refurbished...it only came with 3 months warranty instead of the usual 2 years, but I've had it for over two years now with no problems.

The Orochi is a good portable Bluetooth mouse, and a decent wired portable gaming mouse. Bluetooth is a bit too laggy and unreliable for gaming, which is where the 3-foot detachable cable comes in handy. Using it in wired mode bumps you from 2,000 DPI and 14ms response time to 4,000 DPI and 1ms. Bluetooth is still nice for sheer convenience if you're just using the mouse for normal web browsing and stuff, and it's a very handy portable mouse in general. Comes with a little case to hold the mouse and cable. It's relatively small though; it's designed for portability.

The Cyborg R.A.T. series all have different levels of physical adjustability, and the 9 model is wireless. I've never owned any of these, but they seem quite comfortable given that you can shape them however you like. I've read that they have sensor issues like pixel skipping. But then again, my Mamba uses the same sensor and I have no such problems...which means either such claims are exaggerated, or my Mamba has good firmware management to deal with it, which may not necessarily be the case for the R.A.T. series.

Overall, I'd say the DeathAdder is an excellent bargain. One of the iconic gaming mice with a top-notch optical sensor in a comfortable form factor for $45 on Amazon is a great deal.

    thanks for the input guys.

i've been eyeing the R.A.T. 9 a lot, checking review demos from youtube and all i could say is this is the one :D

now the cooler, the advantage for U3 cooler is that i could switch the positions of the fans, in CRYO im not sure if i can (but im really aiming for better cooling rate) if i could also switch the fan positions in CRYO i would definitely go for it :)

not had a single problem with my RAT 9. I do not work for them but I'm very biased because I really love the mouse. I think it's the best purchase I ever made. Even the given price. It has special software but I do not use it most times. It has a weight system that I love and other "pieces". you literally build it to your hand.
It has a few minor things I don't like: it doesn't have a "wired mode" like the mamba that allows to use the mouse via usb, but it has 2 batteries so 1 is always charge, you just need to change. Batteries are proprietary, I like the shape and size but AA or AAA maybe would give more flexibility. Battery life isn't great. It really depends on how much you use but often I change it twice a day if I'm gaming all the time. I'm worried about how to buy new batteries. But it doesn't bother me. I takes 2 seconds, 4sec per day. I really dislike the receiver/charger. It's big and bulky and it's hard to put it in suitcase where you have your notebook. Also it has 2 leds, 1 for the battery 1 for the mouse usage that blinks. I hate the blinking (they are not bright) but it distracts me but not a problem since I just face it backwards. For me it's 99% perfect. There's isn't any better.
I known some people that can't get used to this mouse and they prefer other ones.
imo you really need to try several ones and see how it feels in your hand.

Reading other articles, I suggest ignoring Razer completely and go with a solid Logitech solution. Maybe it doesn't look so funky, but at least it won't fall apart shortly after and Logitech probably have a customer service, that's worth mentioning. The G5 I bought years ago never failed so far.

For the mice everybody else covered that. Why not make your own cooler though? It should not only be cheaper but can certainly outperform other coolers since you can design it specific to your laptop. My custom cooler uses a 200mm fan to push air up and I can adjust the fan speed with a controller. Since I only use my cooler at home I run it off of ac power
