keep in mind that it is relatively big, and has quite a beefy power supply. i would like to see backpacks that are below 45$. it does need a bit of space but i dont plan on putting much else into it other than a notebook (like paper notebook) or 2. main concern is getting a backpack that protects and fits everything for my notebook.

when its fully packed i dont want it to look huge also. i dont want sumthing thats "buldgy" and is thicker than ones body XD.

its picky i know but thanx ahead of time

Wenger / SwissGear Pegasus is a terrific backpack. Can be had for around $60 (US) on sale at Circuit City and such. A bit more than $45 but I'd say worth it. It's a snug fit for my Dell Vostro 1700 though, so it may or may not fit your NP5792. And Wenger doesn't publish interior dimensions, so it's hard to tell unless you try it in person, so give it a shot!

The north face backpacks are great and so are ogio's range. If you looking for a bag that will fit everything in it I'd say ogio as there not as expensive as the north face either but still are really good bags. I have the north face recon bag. I originally wanted the north face's bandwidth but its not available in my country same with ogio's range there not available in my country either lol so I settled for the recon which was available in my country :) and I love it.

    happy hunting.

I recommend the Kensington Contour Backpack.

You can get i under $30, my buddy got i for $17 a Circuit City a while back.

I have one for my 17" beast... but it fits the Clevo M570 nokebooks much better.

Heres a review of it with the M570U:

Try looking into the Ogio Politican, it says its designed for most 17inch laptops and I just ordered one from amazon for my M1530. The black comes back in stock next Friday, supposedly on Amazon, and it costs $43.

This is my first post on NBR.com

I have a Sager NP5791 and carry it around in a Targus flare. I got it at
Circut City for $50. I love it. It has more than enough space for all the
crap that I have to carry along with the 5791, has more than enough padding, and it is also avaible in an orange trim which matches the orange trim on the 5791 perfectly

    Hey Tinytop69

those links you posted are for the targus shield which I have no expericnce with. I was reckmonding the Targus Flare which fists the 5791 like a glove
and has matching orange trim :) I think it normally retails for around $70, but I got mine on sale at Circut City for $50

    I guess I didn't answer your question

I have seen that backpack before. I think it was at Best Buy and I ruled it out as a possible choice. I'm sorry, but I don't excatly remember why, but most of the bags I ruled out because they were too small

Just bought one for $39.50 shipped! :) After reading all the reviews on the M570U/Sager NP5760, Kensington's Contour BackPack came up several times when users asked for a backpack that was comfortable and able to hold the 17incher firmly in place. I particularly like the lumbar support given to help lug this laptop and the AC adapter around. Can't wait to put it to some good use!

There's one for sale right now on ebay for $15.00 starting bid with no bids and $20 shipping.

There is a stain in the bottom of the main compartment which the seller says is a coffee stain.

This is a little more than you want to spend, though. I ordered one from Amazon a couple of days ago. I like the idea it converts from back pack to messenger bag and back again.
