    I bought that bag. It's great! As for a replacement I didn't come across anything like it.

    Remember that "hard" doesn't always mean better protection. Sometimes it just means more shock is transfered from the case to the laptop inside (think about how cars are meant to crumple when they crash).

    Personally, I've owned a Tom Bihn Brain Cell for about 1.5 yrs. now, and I love it, and don't doubt that it gives it as much protection as my laptop needs.
