    trying to decide on a set of 5.1 speakers.

    i'd like to be able to use them for both my laptop and my tv. i want to keep them around $100-150.

    looked at the logitec:
    z506
    x540

    seems like the 540's are a bit better quality (based on the reviews).. but i'm not up to date on my audio equipment. any other suggestions welcomed :)

    If you go with the Z540, you can get it now thru logitech at $51.40 Shipped. It's a dented box special (meaning the box has been torn, scratched, dented, or has other markings on it).

    But, the product itself is in brand new condition & w/a 2 year warranty.

    The Z540 is an excellent set. I would also throw in the Logitech G51 in the mix for consideration. It's an older system but equally excellent but provides more power over the Z540.

    got he 540's in last night and set up! amazing! need a few more cables from walmart to get it hooked up to my tv and stuff, but they sound incredible, especially for $55 :D
