    Hey, all!

Had anyone tried such a antireflex transparency for the notebook?
The aim of such a transparency is to minimize the reflections on the screen.

I'm not sure if I will need one, but if I do, I wanted to know what your opinion is.

I've got the answer from the source I would get the transparency from (translated by google with my help).

    That site looks messy...

Where did you get that garbled translation - or rather its source? - I could help :)

This is the place, where the transparencies for Acer notebooks are listed.

The source of the text above I have received via E-Mail. The original is in German.

I would like to know if someone had tried out such a transparency for a notebook for limiting reflections on a glossy display.

OK... well, I never tried the site... but strange mix of German and English...

I think there was someone on here who was very disappointed with the privacy filter from 3M - especially glare...

When was this? 3M's gold privacy filter is pretty new... they do have another (older) version, maybe that's what he used?

Ah, figured out what it is - it is an older thread (2008) that had a recent post...

And my reply lol. Yeah that's the older 3M privacy screen, guess we'll have to see more reviews of their newer one.
