    Hi guys..

    I have a question. my laptop is 17" widescreen HP pavilion zd7000. I'm looking for a cooler for my laptop but It's hard to get a cooler for 17" widescreen laptop(besides, the fans are on the left side on my laptop, and most of the fan in the cooler are in the middle - I dont this will help to reduce the heat). The only cooler fit for widescreen laptop I found are koolsink and ilap.

    koolsink => http://www.koolsink.com/
    ilap => http://www.raindesigninc.com/ilap.html

    both of them dont use any fan and only use aluminium steel, and they claim that using it will be better than cooler with fan.

    I'm not sure about this beside the price is extremly expensive compare to fan cooler. if anyone have try out that product please let me know what you think and if any of you know what cooler is good for widesreen 17" laptop, please let me know as well. Thank a lot.

    Lian make a 17" notebook cooler with 2 fans. I'm after a cooler stand without the fans. My Dell 9300 is over clocked to 2.2ghz with a 7800 gt video card. It's get real hot on the base and the fans don't have much airflow underneath. The location of those fans would counter act the fans in my unit. But you might find this work with your model. good luck.

    check out the zalman laptop cooler (i bought mine from amazon, but there're being sold in zipzoomfly and quite a few other retailers too)

    i use it for my G1, although it's a 15" it's still quite huge. it should fit your 17" too.

    I use a Spire Pacific Breeze with my 17" and it works great. Can be found on Newegg.com for 16.99

    I'll second the Zalman recommendation above. It is really good. Also consider Vantec coolers.

    how many usb ports are there on the zalman cooler ? only 2 ? Im looking for a fan with at least 4 usb ports, Should i just go with a cheap fan-only cooler, and get a seperate usb hubs, or just get a cooler with usbs? i love zalman's design though, looks like it will fit well with my asus w3j
