I'm looking for a bluetooth mouse that doesn't require you to use a surface to control the pointer. Like I would be able to control the system with the mouse in the air. maybe for light gaming like WoW, of course I wouldn't expect to play CS with something like that... Does something like that exist in an affordable price range?

The Wiimote is bluetooth, but the movement of the device is tracked by the IR sensor bar. They do make a portable one, or you can make ur own, I do believe i saw a video of someone wusing software that allows you to make the mouse move. He played WoW using it, but it doesn't work quite as well as a mouse does

The movement isn't tracked by the IR sensor bar. The movement is tracked by the Wiimote using the two lights emitted by the "IR sensor bar" as points of reference. You can chuck your IR sensor bar and use two candles if you wanted to.

In any case, there's a company called Gyration that makes "air mice". I know I've seen them on Newegg before. I don't know if they're bluetooth and I think they are more designed for presentations than gaming. That's all I can think of, though.
