I really like my belkon NE sleeve/carry case!. its light can fit in a bag and/or/is a separately portable bag. good design good insulation at least 4cm thick foam either side and it can be converted from a carry bag to a strapped bag to a sleeve! I'm just about to do a mini review ( I know no one cares but hey)

did I mention cheap? should cost you bout $30 USD for everything the waterford has FOR $100 BUCKS USD. if moneys no issue I'd say the waterford would beat the NE belkin but I still like my belkin!

    I've got photos!

I agree that OGIO is very nice, but make sure you chaeck the size before you buy. In fact, I'd recommend a trial fit if possible. I bought an OGIO bag and my rig doesn't fit in the notebook compartment, by less than half an inch.
There are compartments galore. well labeled too.

They are on the expensive side.

I am a big Timbuk2 fan. Higher end ones feature corduroy padding for laptops, many bags are also water resistant.

Tumi, Brenthaven and Codi are the top backpacks. All of them pricey, but quality wise are the best. Among these 3, I would go for Brenthaven.
