I like my MX revolution but its starting to die on me.
In particular what I like about it most is its adjustable scroll wheel and two side buttons, which I use pretty often when browsing.
Is there a mouse similar to this, but has a recharging feature (like through a USB port, etc).

Why not invest in Lithium AA/A batteries with a VX/Nano? Much longer time between battery changes.

Rechargeable are only good if they use standard AA or AAA that can be swapped out as you are bound to run out at the worst possible time. So, being able to use regular battery is a must (at least for me). I do use rechargeable on my Nano (I have a separate battery charger) but i always have a pack of AAA in my laptop bag.

EDIT - If its just your battery according to wikipedia the battery is the same as the G7's removable just have to open the mouse. I remember the prototype pictures showed it clipped in and all. This engadget article shows something to the tune of AA's...? - http://www.engadget.com/2006/09/04/logitech-mx-revolution-mouse-dissected/

I just picked up the MX Rev and was in horror over a 2006 review saying it got 3 to 4 days of battery life. Not sure if they revised the battery but Out of my new unit I got 8.5 days of constant on time. I personally hang it up on the charger every night.
USB charging would have been a nice feature for on the go.
any rechargeable mouse similar to MX revolution/ Nano?
