    I am looking for a kind of wireless headset that can be used for both desktop PC and mobile device. Do all wireless headset that advertise for bluetooth do that? Do I need to purchase a bluetooth receiver for my PC side?

    If by "mobile device," you mean a smartphone / tablet over Bluetooth, you'll need a wireless headset (2.4Ghz) that also supports Bluetooth.

    The ones that I can think of off of the top of my head:
    * Steelseries Siberia 800 / 840
    * Turtle Beach Z300
    * Logitech G933 (wireless connection between PC and headset. Wired connection between smartphone and headset).
    * Astro A50 (wireless connection between Astro MixAmp transmitter station and headset. Wired connection between smartphone and Astro MixAmp transmitter station)

    If you have a smaller budget, you'll be looking at Bluetooth headsets, and getting a Bluetooth adapter for your laptop (if you don't already have one).

    My recommendation here is the LG Tone series. The LG Tone Pro is around $60, and an excellent Bluetooth headset. If you want a bump in quality, consider the LG Tone Platinums. I own those, and love them for listening to music.

    You can pair the headset to your laptop over Bluetooth. Be aware that you will lose the audio mixing capabilities of the gaming headsets on my earlier post. So if you're using the headset to play a game on your laptop, you will not be able to play music from your phone and have both audio sources mixed together. However, if you get an incoming call while playing a game, the headset will mute the audio from your laptop, and put the phone call through instead.
